Yes, It's been awhile....

Decided it was about time to update the blog since it has been over a year 😞Alot has happened in that year. Some good. Some not so good. Let's start with the good.  I was finally hired on full time at Blue Cross Blue Shield of MT. I am able to work from home most of the time. I do choose to go in one to two times a week. 

Fred is still at MT DOT. Busy as ever at work and at home. For those of you that don't know, Fred's mom is moving up here in October from AL so he is working hard on getting the guest cabin ready for her to move in. 

Brandon was here for a week in May before heading to NC to go to Welding School at the NASCAR Institute.

Last weekend Fred and I took a little weekend trip to Yellowstone and The Grand Tetons. 

Now, the not so good news. This past Thursday we had to put Shadow to sleep. We had a great 15 years with her. She will be dearly missed. 

Summer Trip 2020

 Sorry- we are a bit late getting photos of our 2020 summer trip posted. 

We took our kayaks and little camper to the Libby and Kalispell areas of the state. 

Ross Creek Giant Cedars Park:

Kootenai River and Falls:

Lake Koocanusa. This huge lake extends up into Canada. The name is a combination of Kootenai, Canada and USA.

We were there on the 4th of July and it was almost empty! We may have seen only 2 or 3 boats and were there for two days. We caught some fish but they turned out to be "trash" fish. Still fun to catch!

Another weekend we took the ATV up to a high mountain lake called Leslie Lake. It is not too far from Helena.

 Last fall I left a trail camera in the woods near our hunting camp. Last weekend Terry and I rode in and picked up the camera. Lots of good photos...
