Sunday, April 19 - Beautiful weather but windy

After getting everything ready for the appraiser, we had some time for some fun. We went fishing Friday and Saturday afternoon. All that I caught was an old bone and a stick. Fred had 2 bites but they got away.

The doorway going from the old part to the new.

I got permission from the cabinet maker to put pictures on the blog even before the door pulls were put on.

Another picture of the doorway.

April 13th - more work

Some updated pictures and the cabinet worker doing his job.

Happy Easter!

It was a beautiful weekend for work, work, and more work.

The garage doors were installed on Friday.
I was off on Friday but put in a 12 hour day. I sanded, sealed and applied poly on LOTS of trim boards. I also sanded and applied finish to the cabinet doors.

Here is our finishing room.

Fred put in a lot of hours this week. Working at least 15 or more hours a day. We still have a few things left to do and will do those in evenings after work. I touched up some paint on areas that are bare in these pictures. More pictures will be posted tomorrow (I hope).

It is beginning to look like a house and garage now!!

Another nice day today. The roofers came and put most of the metal on the garage:

I had to run to town to return the paint sprayer and pick up some more wood. I spent the rest of the day making cabinet door parts.

Finally! Some nice weather

Fred has taken the week off to get some work done on the house. Today he got the house and garage primed and will paint tomorrow. He also got some trim done in the bathroom and in the hallway.
