Drone Mapping

Drones can be used for mapping. I used a simple app that makes it easy to fly over an area and take photos on a grid pattern. 50 - 100 photos are usually enough to map an area. You then upload the pictures to a website where they are processed into a map and even a 3D model.

Here is the map of our place. (I know, there is a lot of construction debris right now!)
