Moutain Lion!

Today, Terry and I were headed home and spotted a mountain lion crossing the road in front of us. This was about 1 mile from our place. It looked kind of small- maybe about 50 - 60 lbs.

It was hard to get a good picture even though it stopped for a few minutes about 40 yards from the side of the road.

Time Lapse Camera Stuff

It's been awhile since I posted a blog so I thought I would put up some pictures of some of the time lapse cameras I have been working on.

I made this panning head contraption to turn the camera slightly between each shot. It turns about 0.1 degrees each time.
Click here for the test video that was made with it.

I am also working on a smaller version of the controller that will be in a case. Here is the first one:

Below is a solar powered time lapse camera I have been building for someone in Qatar. They are going to set it up to take photos of a large construction project.

Someone from New Zealand bought one of the controller boards and built his own camera. He sent these pictures of it:

This has come a long way since my first experimental circuit board last year! first board
