Misc. events

I know, I know. You all are thinking, well, it's about time you posted some more pictures. We have been busy working on the house while also taking some time off to rest and get away (me mostly 😏)

We did some digging around in the back to get ready for our deck and carport. The concrete slab you see is for our guest cabin to be placed when everything else is done. Yes, it will have running water and power. 

Fred had to hand chisel these to holes so we could run the power, water and gas to the guest cabin.

No, not really. He had a concrete drill that he used with help from me, of course!

We rented a skid steer and mini excavator.

One night I was taking the dogs for a walk up the road and Smokey (our cat) decided he wanted to come along.

One day we decided to walk along the creek to our little waterfall.

Then it was time for me to travel...to NC for Bronwyn's college graduation from UNC - Chapel Hill. It was very hard for Brandon and me to step into the stadium (JK)

HAPPY EASTER!!

Today Fred and I took the dogs and went down to the river for some fishing. I was about ready to go when Fred said "I got one".  Then of course, I was "hooked".  I caught one the first cast out after Fred caught his. Mine was bigger! 😁

There were quite a few people out fishing today. 

We took the dogs for walk along the creek.
