Another beautiful autumn day - 74 degrees

Wednesday we had a new well drilled. The well drilling truck weighed 35 tons and is the heaviest thing to cross the bridge.  No damage done.
The well is 93 feet deep and produces 10 gallons per minute.
Fred and I saw two big bull elk on either side of the road on the way to work Wednesday morning. So we went hunting Wednesday evening after work. We didn't see anything until we were almost back to the car.  Fred had one about 90 yards away but some cow elk that were with him saw Fred and ran so the bull ran, too.

Finally, some updated pictures of the house.  We finally found the right shade of brown paint. We will replace the window on left (white). Fred is now working on the stone on the back of the house.

Labor Day! Snow in the mountains!

Woke up this morning to rain here at the house but mountains had snow.  We rode up about half way to Hogback and they had 2-3 inches.
It rained most of the day yesterday so we didn't do much work on the house.  We spent most of the day in town getting Fred ready for his hunting trip this coming weekend.
On Saturday, Kevin and Michael came over and helped Fred with some of the work.
Because of the change in the weather, we were not able to get the painting done but hopefully will be able to do it soon.
Shadow likes taking her bottles and playing the creek while everyone is busy working.
